Nigeria is having a common boundary with Chad, Niger Republic, Cameroon and Benin republic.

Officially Nigeria is called the Federal republic of Nigeria, An Almagamation of over 200 languages and ethnic groups, With Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba being the three major languages amongst several others.

The name “Nigeria” which was first coined by a journalist – Flora Shaw. The name was derived from “Niger River” in the late 19th century

The people of Nigeria have an extensive history. Archaeological evidence points that humans have been living in the land from as far back as at 9000 BC. The area around the Benue and Cross River is believed to be the original habitation of the Bantu migrants who spread across most of central and southern Africa in waves between the 1st millennium and the 2nd millennium BC.
